What are the common styles of faucets

Common faucet styles are diverse. According to the control handle, they can be divided into single-handle and double-handle types. The former regulates cold and hot water and flow rate through a single control lever. Its design is simple but the temperature control is not precise enough. The latter uses two control levers to control cold and hot water respectively. The temperature adjustment is more precise but it is inconvenient to operate with one hand. According to the water outlet method, there are pull-down type, pull-out type and split spray type. The pull-down type is equipped with a hose and nozzle that can be pulled into the water tank for flushing.

The pull-out type hose can be stretched, but it is inconvenient to scrub tall bottles and cans. The split spray type can flexibly switch the water flow, but two installation holes need to be drilled. According to the installation method, they are divided into wall-mounted and countertop types. The former is installed on the wall to save space but is complex to maintain, while the latter is directly installed on the sink or countertop, making installation and replacement convenient. According to their functional features, they include sensor faucets, thermostatic faucets and electric faucets. Sensor faucets automatically provide water, which is hygienic and water-saving but prone to malfunction. Thermostatic faucets can automatically adjust water temperature. Electric faucets provide hot water immediately upon turning on, but attention should be paid to electrical safety. According to the appearance style, there are retro bridge style and modern minimalist style. The former is suitable for retro decoration but is less used in modern times, while the latter has smooth lines, is fashionable and practical, and is suitable for modern home style.
