How to clean the kitchen sink

To clear a sink blockage, follow these steps:
1. Use a plug (sink plug) : First try to use the plug that comes with the sink to clean up the blockage. Gently insert the pull into the drain and move back and forth, trying to hook out or push the blockage.
2. Use chemical cleaners: If the use of extractors does not work, you can try to use a special pipe cleaner. Follow the product instructions, pour the appropriate amount of detergent into the sink, then wait for some time (usually 15-30 minutes), and then rinse with hot water.
3. Use hot water: If you don’t have a chemical cleaner, try ironing the drain with a pot of hot water. Hot water can help break down some clogs, especially grease clogs.

4. Use air pressure: Using air pressure to clear the blockage is also a method. A simple air pressure device can be made using a plastic bottle, cut off the bottom of the bottle, and then put it tightly over the mouth of the drain, moving it quickly up and down, using the air pressure to help clear the blockage.
5. Use wire or hanger: If the blockage is close to the mouth of the sink, try using a bent hanger (remove the tip to avoid scratching the sink) or wire hook to remove the blockage.
6. Remove the drain pipe: If the above methods do not work, you may need to remove the drain pipe to clean it. Use a wrench to remove the P-trap (the U-shaped part of the drain pipe), then clean the blockage inside.
7. Use a pipe dredge machine: For more stubborn clogs, you can consider using an electric pipe dredge machine, which can rotate deep into the pipe and remove the blockage. 
 When cleaning, pay attention to the following:
● Wear gloves to protect your hands.
● Be careful when using chemical cleaners to avoid contact with skin or eyes.
